The look of summer is coming back to Essex early next month.
The Farm Bar and Grille in Essex is now accepting teams for its second annual Bikini And Speedo Dodgeball Tournament to benefit Next Step, a charity that provides help to young people with serious illnesses who have aged out of other benefits.
The event, slated for Saturday, March 4, is open to participants age 21 and older. It pits teams of five against one another in outdoor dodgeball with the participants wearing bathing suits.
Teams contribute $100 to register, and so far, The Farm Bar and Grille, Ryan and Wood Distillery, George's Coffee Shop, Sugar Mags, Cross Fit Cape Ann, Beverly Athletic Club, GoodMorning Gloucester, Jungle Screen Printing, Passports Canadian Bacon, Ed Collard's House Doctors, Mamie's Kitchen Muffin Tops, Beach Gourmet Catering and Muffy White Organizing and Styling have signed up to compete for the title.
