Rockport Police/Fire: Driver needs towing after ignoring signs

ROCKPORT — A motorist had to be pulled out of Penzance Road by Tally’s Towing Friday at 9:24 a.m., after ignoring the road closed signs due to flooding, police said.

Police said this was not the first time a driver has ignored the signs.

A Rockport High School student was transported from the school to Addison Gilbert Hospital after falling and hitting her head at 2:45 p.m. Thursday.
