Gloucester Police/Fire: Alcohol breath test yields probation violation charge

GLOUCESTER — Nathan J. Fanning, a 32-year-old Gloucester man, was arrested for violating his probation requirement to remain alcohol free.

According to police, Fanning registered an .04 reading on a Breathalyzer test randomly administered by police at his Friend Street home Monday about 5:39 p.m.

Gloucester police towed three vehicles that were parked illegally on Church Street Monday evening.

A parking officer ticketed the three vehicles parked in a marked tow zone around 26 Church St. about 7:33 p.m. According to police. the vehicles were towed a half hour later. Two other vehicles down the street were also ticketed for being parked partially on the sidewalk, police said.
