Teachers to have their smarts tested for charity

ROCKPORT — This evening, Rockport High School’s top scholars will put some of their teachers to the test.

The school’s chapter of the National Honor Society will host its second annual charity game show at 7 tonight in the John E. Lane Auditorium.

“Are You Smarter Than A High Schooler?” features Rockport teachers as contestants. Teachers will be given questions out of their specialty as well as popular culture. If a question stumps them, Rockport students are available to each contestant for help.

This year, all proceeds collected from admissions will be directed to the cancer ward at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

Adult tickets are $8, children’s are $5 at the door.
