Essex Police/Fire: Police aid residents lost in Swampscott

---- — ESSEX — Swampscott police asked Essex police for help Wednesday in identifying and aiding an Essex resident who had walked into the Swampscott Police Station.

According to police, the man walked into the Swampscott Police Department just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday and was not sure where he was. Dispatching officers were able to make contact with the person before Essex police arrived.

Police advised an Essex resident on how to get a restraining order filed against a family member. The resident came into the station seeking a restraining order around 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Police recovered a bicycle left on the side of the Centennial Grove Road on Wednesday around 1 p.m.
