ROCKPORT — Police may seek criminal complaints after they broke up a house party on Granite Street.
The matter is still under investigation, but officers said they responded to the house Monday at 1:56 a.m. and found several minors in possession of alcohol.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots off Pleasant Street Sunday at 4:20 p.m., and police responding to the scene found residents shooting targets by Kelly's Pond.
They stopped after police spoke to them. No charges were filed.
A Woodbury Lane resident called police to report Monday at 6:38 a.m. that his mailbox had been torn out of the ground. Officers are investigating.
Police responded to a report of horses on the loose on South Street on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. Police helped return the horses to their owner.
The Rockport Ambulance Squad transported a Haddow Road resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital at 8:23 p.m. Friday.
The squad also transported a South Road resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Police responded Saturday at 11:19 p.mto a report of a noise complaint and loud music on Granite Street. The resident turned the music down when police arrived.
