Manchester Police/Fire: Open manhole sparks more calls

MANCHESTER — Police again notified Verizon of a Beach Street manhole that has been popping open for four days now, after receiving multiple reports of the shifted lid and surrounding the lid with cones, police said.

Police said Verizon, however, had still not requested a safety detail as of Friday morning.
