Rockport Police/Fire: Alarm set off on Marmion Way

ROCKPORT — Early Thursday morning, at 2:58, a burglar alarm was set off on Marmion Way. Police responded immediately, but nothing was out of the ordinary or suspicious when officers arrived.

A Sandy Bay Estates resident called the station to report a domestic violence issue.

Police said when they arrived at the home at 12:17 p.m. Wednesday, a woman was arguing over the phone.

At 6:30 Wednesday night, firefirefighters and police officials assisted an elderly Indian Road resident who had fallen down.
