Manchester Police/Fire: Manchester police aid in reported abduction try

MANCHESTER — Manchester Police assisted the Hamilton Police Department in a search for a man who allegedly tried to abduct an 11-year-old girl in Hamilton on Monday at 4:48 p.m.

Police said only that the incident is still under investigation. The girl was able to escape.

Fire Department paramedics and police responded to a 911 call at the Manchester Athletic Club for a report of a child not breathing. The child, who was breathing but having a seizure when police arrived, was transported to Beverly Hospital at 1:57 p.m. Monday.

Paramedics transported a Summer Street resident to Beverly Hospital on Tuesday at 1:41 p.m. The resident complained of stomach pains.

Police directed traffic around a trailer truck on Lincoln Street that couldn't make it under the school crossing footbridge Monday at 4:05 p.m.
