ROCKPORT — Five youths, all ages 14 and 15, were charged with vandalism at 4:40 p.m. Sunday after the teens allegedly broke into the shed at Evans Field.

Police said the teens broke a number of light bulbs, and damaged other property.

None of the perpetrators' names were released because they are juveniles.

Police were called to a Stockholm Avenue residence at 10 p.m. Friday to remove what was described as "an unwanted guest," but ended up removing one of the residents of the home.

Stephanie Watson, 44, was arrested on five outstanding warrants, as well as a new charge of domestic assault.

Michael Mangini, 42, of Forest Street, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license Monday at 6:59 a.m.

Police ran his license plate number when Mangini was driving on Nugent Stretch, and found that his license had been suspended.

Police received a called regarding a reportedly "suspicious person" on Pigeon Cove Wharf at 9 p.m. Friday.

Originally thinking the person could have something to do with thefts of lobster traps in the area, police spoke to the man, but after concluding that the man was not involved in criminal activity, the man was allowed to continue on his way.

The Fire Department received a call about smoke in the area of Lane's Farm Way at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, but traced it to a permitted burn in the neighborhood.

The Fire Department cleared the scene, but returned to the same address at 8:57 p.m. Sunday to douse the then-smouldering fire.
