Essex Police/Fire: Stop sign knocked from corner

Essex Police/Fire

ESSEX — A resident reported a past motor vehicle accident Monday around 5:30 p.m.

Police said the resident reported that somebody had driven across a lawn and knocked down a stop sign on the corner of Milk Street and Forest Avenue.

According to police, the stop sign was propped back up in its corner spot.

Police responded to a burglar alarm on John Wise Avenue Monday afternoon at 1:37. Officers checked the area, however, and found that everything was in order.
