ESSEX — Police received a report of a dead deer that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, in the roadway on Western Avenue Tuesday morning.
Police notified the Department of Public Works, which removed the dead animal about 6:32 a.m., according to police. Police said there was no vehicle on scene.
