Today

Council on Aging, 5:30 p.m., Rockport Community House, downstairs conference room. Director's and financial reports, Frank Farrenkopf dedication, date change for "Then & Now" program, grant balance status, program specialist position, meals program, advertising, volunteer greeter status, programs for third quarter, formulation of sub-committees.

Personnel Board, 7:30 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A. Review of salary administration policy, Article 21 of personnel regulations — performance development process, salary adjustment request sfor Public Works office manager and field coordinator, request for new position of program specialist for Council on Aging, fiscal 2011 performance evaluation and salary market survey of town administrator; and discuss fiscal 2013 compensation schedules.

Open Space and Recreation Committee, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Rockport Public Library. Workshop discussion on approaches and ideas to emphasize the importance watershed protection; discussion on town parcel 15-92 and references to it in OSR plan, Andrews Woods; Prioritization and protection of private parcels; town-owned OS&R parcels most in need of management; needs analysis for improved shore access and parking at active recreation facilities.

Tuesday

Board of Assessors, 6 p.m., Assessors Office. Old and new business; appointments with taxpayers.

Selectmen and Finance Committee, 7 to 9 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A. Executive session to discuss real property and confidential information to precede regular meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Action items: Elwin Richter interview, nomination for the Personnel Board, Council on Aging program specialist, Economic Development Committee plan, articles to place on warrants, approval of resolutions, shedule Tool Company public forum. Briefing on Fire Department. Discussion of Finance Committee's operating budget, Capital Improvement Planning Committee's capital budget, merit bonuses, grant writing function, and other business.

Superintendent Search Committee, 6:20 p.m., Rockport Elementary School library, 24 Jerden's Lane.

Wednesday

Cape Ann Transportation Authority, 10 a.m., CATA, 3 Pond Road, Gloucester, conference room. Discussion of MBTA's proposed cut in service and fare increase, and of CATA's solar energy project.

Conservation Commission, 7 p.m., Town Hall, Conference Room A.

Thursday

Superintendent Search Committee, 4:40 p.m., Rockport Elementary School library, 24 Jerden's Lane.
