Rockport Police/Fire: Police probe Tool Co. site vandalism

Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — Police responded Thursday night to a report of vandalism on the former Cape Ann Tool Company property.

Police said they found new writing on the Breakwater Avenue side of the building, adding that the case is under investigation.

Police responded to a noise complaint on Bearskin Neck at 11:38 a.m. Thursday.

Officers said the owner of the shop Inkas Wasi was asked to turn down his music.

Emergency crews assisted a Squam Road resident Thursday shortly after 2 p.m. after receiving a call that the person had fallen. The resident, however, did not require ambulance transport.

Police said a woman from Pigeon Hill Street was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester Friday at 9 a.m.
