Rockport Police/Fire: Juvenile arrested for breaking and entering

Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — A local teenager is facing juvenile charges of breaking and entering after police responded to an incident on Pooles Terrace.

According to police, a resident called Monday at around noon, saying that she thought someone was breaking into her neighbor’s house.

Her suspicions proved true, with officers responding and arresting a juvenile at the scene.

Police responded to a fire alarm at a Seaview Street residence Monday at 6:41 p.m., but the alarm proved false, having been set off accidentally.

Police responded Tuesday to a noise complaint regarding a barking dog on Athena Way, but officers found that all was quiet when they arrived.
