Manchester Police/Fire: Man’s clothing question prompts complaint calls

---- — MANCHESTER — A man asking questions about the clothing policy at Singing Beach prompted several people to call police.

Police said they received complaints about the man, who was driving around Beach Street asking if clothing was optional at Singing Beach, Friday around 1:30 p.m.

Police could not find the motorist.

Complaints about noise at a Church Street home were made Saturday at 8:51 and 9:03 p.m.

The residents turned down the music the second time they were contacted by police.

Saturday at 10:38 a.m., police said a minor car accident took place on Crooked Lane. There were no citations, medical transports, or vehicles removed from the area.

Sunday at 2:38 p.m., police told a group of people to stop walking on the railroad tracks after they were spotted near Beach Street.
