Ashley Sands and Nicole Lucido, both students at Salem State University in Salem, have been inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Two Gloucester students have earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of Vermont in Burlington: Nancy Frye in art history and Karl Roth in civil engineering.

Kelsey Menici has been awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Curry College in Milton. She was also named to the school’s 2013 spring term dean’s list.

Margaret Muniz has been named to the 2013 spring term dean’s list at Curry College in Milton.

These students have earned bachelor’s degrees from Merrimack College in North Andover: Bryan Biliatom business administration and French; Jaclyn Arnold, athletic training; Robert Lowe, business administration; Alexandria Orlando, psychology; Leah Palazola, mathematics; Salvator Taormina, economics; Aaron Tibbetts, history; Melanie Tobey, sociology; and Alicia Unis, communication studies.

Alden French was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. He was also named to the school’s 2013 spring semester dean’s list. A 2009 graduate of Middlesex School in Concord, he is the son of Alden and Elizabeth French of Gloucester.

Anne French has graduated from Westminster School in Simsbury, Conn.

Gloucester native Kelley Connors Golden completed a full Iron Man triathalon in The Woodlands, Texas, on May 18. The triathalon took place in 100-degree heat. She is the daughter of John and Polly Connors of Gloucester. Kelley’s son, John Golden, also a Gloucester native, is a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he recently attained the first-place finish in an intercollegiate half-marathon, leading the field of 623 runners while breaking the school’s all-time record to complete the event in 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 49 seconds.
