Gloucester Police/Fire: Woman faces vehicular charge

Police charged Michelle K. McNutt, 54, with leaving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle on a public road, at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, after identifying the Maplewood Avenue woman’s vehicle parked on Friend Street.

Tally’s towed the vehicle and police held onto the license plates.

Police transported a 28-year-old woman described as “out of control” from the Shaw’s supermarket on Railroad Avenue to the Action Inc. shelter on Main Street Wednesday about 8:57 p.m., according to police.
