Essex Police/Fire:Gloucester woman issued criminal complaint

ESSEX — Sunday morning around 1:15, police stopped a Gloucester woman in the area of Story Street for driving infractions.

Lindsay Hamm, 21, of Essex Avenue was issued a criminal complaint for driving without a license, driving with a revoked registration and driving while uninsured.

The vehicle was towed from the area.

Police stopped an Essex man while driving in on Conomo Point Road on Sunday around 5 p.m.

Michael Jacobs, 28, of Western Avenue was issued a criminal complaint for driving with a suspended license. Police said Jacobs was unaware his license was suspended.

Friday just after 1:30 p.m., reports of gunshots were reported in the area of Story Street. Police said the gunshots were coming from a nearby shooting range.

Saturday around 10:45 a.m., more reports of gunshots were made, this time in the area of Western Avenue. Police said the shots were coming from a nearby shooting range.

Police responded to a burglar alarm on Chebacco Terrace Saturday night just after 10 p.m., but it was false alarm.

Friday just before 5:30 p.m., a male Eastern Avenue resident was transported to Beverly Hospital.
