ROCKPORT — A woman called police at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday to report her purse had been taken from her unlocked car at the Rockport MBTA commuter rail station.
She said it had apparently been taken Tuesday between 9 a.m. and noon.
Officers responded to a single-car accident on South Street at 7:27 a.m. Wednesday, but reported no injuries.
The car was towed from the scene, but police filed no charges.
Police called the New England Aquarium in Boston to report a dead dolphin on Front Beach on Wednesday at 8 a.m.
At 12:46 p.m. Tuesday, officers received a call reporting a man riding an all-terrain vehicle on Curtis Street. Police said they found the driver on Johnson's Road, and told him he wasn't allowed to ride an ATV on town roads.
The Rockport Ambulance Squad transported a Woodland Road resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester on Tuesday at 1:58 p.m.
The Rockport Ambulance Squad transported a Bradley Wharf resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital on Wednesday at 2:55 p.m.
Police also responded to a burglar alarm at a Rowe Point residence Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and found the building secure when they arrived.
