ROCKPORT — Eight new lobster traps were reported stolen from Pigeon Cove Wharf at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.
The thefts mark the second such incident in recent weeks, police said, with the prior theft involving 10 traps which are still missing.
Police are continuing to investigate both incidents.
