---- — A man was arrested outside of TD Bank North in Gloucester after he caused a disturbance in the bank Monday about 3:26 p.m.
Jose E. Sanchez, a 39-year-old man listed as homeless, had allegedly “become irate,” threatened bank employees and then refused to leave after a manager asked him to go.
When police arrived, they brought Sanchez outside, where he again became “loud and angry.” Police charged Sanchez with disorderly conduct.
Police arrested Justin J. Brown, 28, and charged him with violating a restraining order after a patrolling officer noticed him sitting next to a woman in the driveway of his Pleasant Street home Tuesday about 12:46 p.m.
The woman told police she had planned to remove the order, which expires in August, but Brown was still arrested for the violation as the order was still active at that time.
Police filed criminal complaints Monday against Arnaldo Ortiz, a 26-year-old Somerville man, the day after he was allegedly involved in a fight on Sunday in Gloucester.
Ortiz faces a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, that weapon being his foot, after another man involved in the fight followed up with the police, informing officers that Ortiz kicked him.
The man accusing Ortiz, David M. Amaral Jr., had also been charged with two counts of domestic assault and battery the previous day.
Those charges came after Amaral allegedly “attacked” a man in the same domestic dispute. Amaral, 30, was accused of striking the man and also of hitting the man’s daughter as she tried to break up a fight between the two.
