Manchester Police/Fire: Reported intruders were right at home

MANCHESTER — Police responded to a report that people were trying to enter a Summer Street residence by scaling the side of the building just after 9 p.m.

Police, however, said they made contact with the people trying to gain entrance — who turned out to be residents of the building.

Police received a report of a stolen car at 11:20 a.m. on Monday from a Beach Street residence.

However, within minutes, police learned the incident was due to a miscommunication with a family member; no car was stolen.

Tuesday at 2:15 p.m., a Summer Street woman declined hospital transport after a call requesting medical attention.
