Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — Police responded to several calls Sunday and Monday about a sick fox in the area.

Police said the first call came in on Landmark Lane Sunday just before 3 p.m., while they also received calls from Story, Granite and Curtis streets.

Responding officers spotted the fox, but could not manage to catch it.

Police said a Forest Street man was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester Sunday at midnight.

An alarm sounded Sunday at 9:02 a.m. from Oakland Avenue, but officers found the alarm to be faulty.
