ROCKPORT — An alarm went off at 8:44 a.m. Friday at Rockport Elementary School on Jerden's Lane.

Police found that the alarm was set off by a staff member coming into the building.

At 2:03 p.m. Thursday, a Briar Stone Road woman called to report receiving annoying phone calls from a telemarketer. Police directed the woman to contact the "Do Not Call List" phone number.

Police assisted a Thatcher Road teen who became fatigued while running on Summer Street at 12:23 p.m. Friday.

Police brought the teenager home.
