ROCKPORT — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled this week in Rockport:

Today

Traffic & Parking Committee, 1 p.m., community room, Rockport Police Station. Safety issues on Atlantic Avenue; Dock Square and 100 Main St. crosswalks; parking for compact cars at 60 Beach St.; safety at intersection of Jewitt and Cleaves streets; stop sign at Hale and Cleaves streets; Highview Road parking; CATA bus stop at 21 Broadway; and any new business.

Economic Development Committee, 1 p.m., Rockport Public Library. Request for proposals followup.

Finance Committee, 7 p.m., Trustees Room, Rockport Public Library. Review potential fiscal 2012 budget adjustments and warrant articles for fall Town Meeting; and any new business.

Tuesday

Board of Assessors,

6 p.m., Assessors Office, Town Office Building, 34 Broadway. Sign Community Preservation Act exemptions, review ATB cases.

Selectmen, 7 p.m., Conference Room A, Town Office Building, 34 Broadway. Appoint George Robertson to MBTA Station Planning Committee; Conservation Commission use of wetlands funds; 134 Long Beach lease; liquor license management agreement; consent to review intermunicipal agreement; net metering power purchase agreement; sign warrant for fall Town Meeting; Rockport Art Association sculpture; Conservation Commission briefing; Haskins Park proposal; ; and any new business.

Wednesday

School Committee, 7 p.m., library, Rockport Middle and High School, 26 Jerden’s Lane. Superintendent goals and induction entry plan; policy review and readings; Breathalyzer policy; update on school technology plan and technology positions shared with town; School Council update; fall Town Meeting; Sub-Committee Reports; School Committee goals; and food service update.

Friday

Economic Development Committee, 10 a.m., Rockport Police Station. Request for proposals followup.
