Gloucester Police/Fire: Shelter man charged on warrant

Salvatore J. Aiello, 29, who gave his address as the Action Inc. shelter on Main Street, was arrested on an active warrant Friday by Gloucester police.

He was nabbed after an officer recognized him riding as the passenger in a vehicle that police stopped for a traffic violation at 10:43 a.m. Police did not specify the charge on the initial warrant.

Renato D. Silva, a 42-year-old Rogers Street man, was arrested for driving without a license after police stopped him on Rogers Street Sunday about 10:59 a.m.

Police arrested William D. Skrobacz, a 40-year-old Cross Street man, at the commuter rail station on Railroad Avenue on a default warrant out of Lynn Sunday at around.
