ROCKPORT — A witness to a single-car accident on Main Street Sunday called police shortly after, at 3:35 p.m.
Police said the accident remains under investigation. The victim was transported to Addison Gilbert Hospital.
On Nov. 23, around 9 p.m., a School Street resident called police to report somebody trying to get into his house. Police immediately responded, but were unable to locate anyone when they arrived.
Police on patrol helped a resident with some car trouble Sunday at 9:19 a.m., with an officer assisting a motorist with a flat tire on Granite Pier.
Police responded to reports of somebody walking on the commuter rail tracks Sunday at 1:15 p.m., but responding officers could not locate anyone near the train station.
The Rockport Ambulance corps transported a number of residents to area hospitals over the weekend.
A male resident of Millbrook Park was transported at 2:23 p.m. Saturday, while, at 2 a.m. Sunday, a female Marmion Way resident was also transported to AGH.
Just a few hours later, at 5:03 a.m., a Jerdens Lane resident was transported to Beverly Hospital. Then, that afternoon at 3:37, a Broadway resident was transported to AGH.
