---- — A 52-year-old Haverhill man was convicted in Gloucester District Court Tuesday on 21 charges of trapping undersized lobsters in late October.
William A. Calnan had pleaded guilty on each charge, and was ordered to pay a total of $2,100 in fees for the 21 offenses.
He was also assessed $100 in fees for each of three separate catch regulation violations. No further information on those violations was available.
A case alleging the larceny of a motor vehicle against a man who allegedly took his sister-in-law’s vehicle keys without asking permission, will be dismissed once he pays court fees, a Gloucester District Court judge decided Friday.
Phillip A. Brady Jr., 48, of Yarmouth Port, was charged with stealing his sister-in-law’s vehicle on Aug. 14, after he allegedly told her he had taken the keys and was going to drive the vehicle to Logan Airport in Boston.
He was assessed court fees totaling $250.
