Essex Police/Fire: Low hanging wires

Essex Police/Fire

ESSEX — Low-hanging wires were reported to police Tuesday at 3:11 p.m.

Police notified both Comcast and Verizon, and utility crews responded to the scene.

A John Wise Avenue man was transported by the Fire Department’s ambulance squad to Beverly Hospital Wednesday at 1:15 a.m.

A suspicious vehicle was reported by police shortly after 8 a.m. on Evans Way.

When police investigated, however, they found the vehicle belonged to a cleaning service, and a crew was simply working at the location.
