Manchester Police/Fire: Summer Street closed for second day

---- — MANCHESTER — Summer Street will be closed around No. 87 again today, and possibly Friday, for sewer work, police said.

Detours will be set up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Summer and Lincoln streets directing all inbound traffic down Lincoln to School Street, according to police. Detours will be set up Summer and Brook Street directing all outbound traffic down Brook to Norwood Avenue and back to Lincoln Street.

There will be access to both Manchester Essex Regional High and Middle and Memorial Elementary schools, and there will be police officers directing traffic and electronic sign boards will be in place.

A Manchester resident, June Sharkey, 44, now faces charges for violating a harassment prevention order. She was arrested on Pine Street at 1:47 p.m. Tuesday. Police said no bail was set and Sharkey was scheduled be arraigned Wednesday in court.
