Rockport Police/Fire: Police probe Whistlestop vandalism

ROCKPORT — Police responded Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. to reports of children smashing flower pots inside the Whistlestop Mall.

When police arrived, they found broken Styrofoam pots, but could not find any children or others on the scene.

Rockport police were also notified of children throwing apples at cars on Summer Street. Police spoke to the boys responsible as well as their mother at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

At 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said a Curtis Street woman was taken to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.
