The owner of a Main Street business called police Monday at 10:38 a.m. to report that someone had left a threatening note under his door Sunday night.
The note, from an organization for the purported defense of animals, said the owner should be killed and that they would be watching him. Police are investigating.
Officers responded to Addison Street at 7:59 p.m. Sunday after a resident reported that "kids" were shooting at the house with an Air-Soft gun.
Officers spoke with the kids, confiscated the gun and broke it.
A man on a motorcycle called police from East Main Street on Monday at 7:11 a.m., saying that a cyclist coming down the street had hit him as he was pulling out of Zeke's. The cyclist went head over handlebars, hit his head on the pavement, and drove off bleeding, the caller said. Officers could not find the cyclist.
Paramedics transported a Veterans Way resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester on Sunday at 8:40 p.m.
