MANCHESTER — A small sinkhole at the intersection of Summer and West Ocean streets led police to call National Grid on Tuesday at 8:58 a.m.
Police said officers had noticed some ground around a manhole sinking in the street. National Grid crews responded and started work on the manhole soon after.
Police responded to Morse Court at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a car left idling for two hours. Officers found the car locked, and almost out of gas. A neighbor told them the owner had left two hours ago. But police did not take any action.
Paramedics transported a Pine Street man to Beverly Hospital on Monday at 7:45 a.m.
Paramedics transported a resident of The Plains housing complex to Beverly Hospital on Monday at 12:10 p.m.
