Manchester Police/Fire: Woman, 77, held for her protection

MANCHESTER — A 77-year-old woman was placed in protective police custody Sunday.

Officers responded to a report that the intoxicated woman had fallen on Central Street’s sidewalk.

The woman, placed in protective custody about 8:56 p.m., was released about 10:35 p.m., according to police.
