Manchester Police/Fire: Patrolmen shift tree from road

MANCHESTER — Police helped move a tree blocking Summer Street early Wednesday morning.

A caller reported the downed foliage in the area of number 387 about 4:29 a.m.

Police said officers moved as much of the tree as they could from the roadway, which is Route 127, then called the state Highway Department to take care of the rest.
