Rockport Police/Fire: Campaign tactics draw complaint

ROCKPORT — Officers responded to a complaint about 40 sign-holders at every section of Five Corners on Monday at 5:15 p.m.

Police told the residents, who were holding signs for candidates in the town elections, to stay off the street and on the sidewalks.

Police responded to Sandy Bay Estates for a report of vandalism Monday at 8:56 p.m. A resident reported that his tire had been slashed. Police have no suspects.

The Rockport Ambulance Squad transported a Phillips Avenue resident and a Sandy Bay Estates resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester on Monday at 12:55 p.m. and 5:11 p.m. respectively.

Rockport Ambulance transported a Gott Street resident to Addison Gilbert Hospital on Tuesday at 10:20 a.m.
