Firefighters extinguish Scott's Way fire

ESSEX — Police and firefighters responded to a Scott’s Way business around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

Police said a wood chipper at the business was emitting smoke and a small fire was extinguished.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity behind Woodman’s parking lot on Main Street. Police issued three marijuana related civil citations to a 19-year-old man and two juveniles.
