The woman told officers that her son, identified as Keith O’Connor, had been missing since Friday, and that he was last seen on Main Street wearing black pants, a plaid shirt, gray sweater-vest and red and white sneakers.

She added that he has brown hair and brown eyes, and indicated that she believes he might be in Beverly or Lynn.

Police have filed a missing persons report to the Massachusetts State Police database, and are investigating.

Police responded to a Staten Street residence after a woman called at 7:41 p.m. on Sunday to report that three kids had thrown a lit piece of fireworks at her window. Police found one of the kids in a house nearby, but could not locate others.
