Essex Police/Fire: Essex man charge on abuse order

ESSEX — Essex police received a tip about a violation of an abuse prevention order Monday just after 6 p.m.

Police then arrested 28-year-old James Stavros II at his house on John Wise Avenue, with officers indicating that the warrant was issued out of Beverly.

Police responded to a burglar alarm sounding on Centennial Grove Road Monday at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, the area was secure when police arrived.
