Essex Police/Fire: Hamilton woman in Essex DUI charge

ESSEX — A Hamilton woman is facing a drunken driving charge after a stop by Essex police over the weekend.

Police stopped Devon Scuteri, 23, of 171 Essex St., Hamilton, on Main Street at 12:29 a.m. Sunday and charged her with speeding and operating under the influence.

Police responded to a report of an “out-of-control person” on Forest Avenue at 4:12 a.m. Sunday.

On Friday, Essex police requested a MedFlight helicopter to transport a man to Boston after he suffered serious injuries in a fall.
