Matinee musical

Schoolchildren presenting production today

A bunch of local children have been in class for two weeks.

From Aug. 12 to today, the children, age 8 through high school, have attended the O’Maley Middle School Musical Theatre Camp weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The classes have been led by the program’s founders Leslie Sellers and Jenn Luzitano, as well as Kelly O’Dea.

This year the students have been working on songs and dance numbers from multiple famous musicals.

The campers will present a musical revue today at noon in the auditorium at O’Maley Middle School, 32 Cherry St.
