ROCKPORT — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled in Rockport this week:

Monday

Finance Committee, 9 a.m., Town Hall Conference Room A. Final preparations of Long Beach recommendation.

Granite Pier Committee, 5:30 p.m., library. Discussion of what to do about summer stores that should not be allowed to return, future project, new sign discussion.

Finance Committee and selectmen, 7 p.m. Town Hall Conference Room A. Recommendation of Long Beach leases.

Personnel Board, 7:30 p.m., Town Hall Conference Room A. Veterans agent update, accounting specialist update, parking clerk adjustment, employee review and evaluations.

Tuesday

Board of Assessors, 6 p.m., Assessor’s Office.

Selectmen, 7 p.m., Town Hall Conference Room A. Appointments to committees, updates and liaison reports, hiring of three Department of Public Works employees, approval for Rockport Harvestfest, Action Inc. Grant, Agreement with Eastern Minerals Inc, agreement with Roses’ Oil Service, Bearskin Neck shop owner concerns.

Wednesday

Harbor Advisory Committee, 6 p.m., Old Fire House, 6 Mount Pleasant Street.

Board of Firefighter Engineers, 6:30 p.m., Central Fire Station. Discussion with captain and lieutenant about a personnel matter.

Millbrook Meadow Committee, 7 p.m., Rockport Public Library Trustees Room. Update with DPW, contractor selection, plans for fundraising, upcoming events,

Conservation Commission, 7 p.m.,Town Hall Conference Room A. New hearings on High and Gap Head roads, continued hearings about Marmion Way and Seaview Street.

School Committee, 7 p.m., Middle High School library. Minute approval, RHS student advisory council, public comments, field trip approval, website discussion, updates and subcommittee reports.

Thursday

Planning Board, 7:30 p.m., Rockport Town Hall Annex.

Thacher Island Association and Thacher and Straitsmouth Island Committee, 7:30 p.m., Rockport Police Staiton.

Saturday

Selectmen, 9:15 a.m.,Town Hall Conference Room A. Long Beach lease discussion, no public comment period.
