Essex Police/Fire: Vandalism reported

ESSEX — Police are investigating a report of potential vandalism, which came in Tuesday around 9:15 a.m.

A window of a vehicle parked on Western Avenue was broken, although nobody saw anything at the time of the incident.

Police said nothing appeared to be stolen out of the car.

The assistant harbormaster received a report Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. of a small skiff sunk near the Essex Marina. Police said the boat was recovered, and they were trying to contact the owner.

Police and firefighters responded to a small outdoor fire on Main Street around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police said the fire was quickly extinguished.

An incident of road rage was reported Tuesday around 6 p.m. Police said a car was stopped on Western Avenue, but the incident happened in Ipswich.
