Local restaurants offer deals this week

There’s more than just seafood sold at Cape Ann’s restaurants, and towners and chefs are showing off their culinary chops and offering diners deals during Spring Restaurant Week 2013.

The week, which started this past Sunday, April 28, and runs through this Friday, May 3, spotlights the diversity and high quality of the Cape Ann dining experience at 10 participating restaurants.

Each participating restaurants is offering a special three-course, fixed-price menu, including appetizers, salads, three entree choices and dessert selections for the low price of $25.13 or $33.13 (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity). Restaurants are also offering their regular menus.

The overwhelming public response to the fall event in past years prompted the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce to again promote Cape Ann as a top dining destination on the North Shore, only this time in the spring.

The participating restaurants are Ohana, Latitude 43, Lobstaland, Alchemy Cafe & Bistro, The Franklin Cape Ann, The Patio Restaurant, Sea Glass Restaurant at Castle Manor Inn, and the Seaport Grille at Cruiseport Gloucester, all in Gloucester; and Cala’s Restaurant and The Landing at 7 Central in Manchester.

For more information, visit:, or call the chamber at 978-283-1601.
