Rockport Police/Fire

ROCKPORT — Police received a noise complaint at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday after one or more people at a Granite Street residence had apparently set of fireworks.

When police arrived and found a small gathering of people, officers said the people responsible for the fireworks had left the party, and the scene was quiet.

Just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said a Phillips Avenue woman phoned police about a broken hot water heater and electrical problems in her basement.
