Rockport Police/Fire: Drivers unhurt in accident

ROCKPORT — Police reported what officers called a minor car accident in the area of Main and High Streets Tuesday at 11:21 a.m.

Officers said the drivers exchanged information, and there were no injuries.

Monday at 10:48 p.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to the high school for a fire alarm. Police, however, said it proved to be a false alarm.

The town’s Ambulance Squad responded to the following calls and transported people to Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester.

Monday at 10:48 p.m., a woman was transported from Marmion Way.

On Tuesday at 10:15 a.m., a Broadway woman was taken to the hospital, while another woman from Mount Pleasant Street was taken to the hospital just after 11 a.m.

Monday around 5:45 p.m., a Bradley Wharf man was transported to a Boston area hospital.
