Essex on the agenda

ESSEX — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled in Essex this week:


Manchester Essex Regional School District School Committee Subcommittee on Elementary Facilities, 9 to 10 a.m., School District School Central Office, 36 Lincoln St., Manchester. Planning for Fiscal 2014 and Academic Configuration Task Force Planning, document revisions, distribution schedule.

Selectmen, 7 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library, 30 Martin St. Town administrator’s report on opening of filed sub-bids for Town Hall and Library Improvement Project, medical marijuana regulation, state Downtown Initiative Grant, Town Landing design, offer of Building Center sponsorship; approve and sign contract between the town, MIIA Health Benefits Trust, and the town’s Health Plan; consider a request to appoint Mike Dyer as the Long Term Planning Committee liaison to the Public Safety Study Committee; inform MAPC of Peter Phippen’s reappointment to the committee; review and sign an agreement to extend bridge lease and purchase and sale agreements for Conomo Point properties. Executive session expected on lease, sale and value of Conomo Point properties; Judson Pratt, et al., v. the town; and Walker et al. v. the town. One-day liquor license for Woodman’s on Sept. 21.
