---- — MANCHESTER — A Gloucester man is facing a series of motor vehicle charges after he was arrested Friday around 3:30 p.m.

Police were first called to School Street in Manchester to deal with an alleged erratic operator, and soon tracked down 48-year-old David Bader of Centennial Avenue.

Police said Bader is being charged with failure to stop for police, speeding, failure to properly signal and a marked lanes violation.

Police received a call Sunday around 4:45 p.m., regarding a man on Pine Street who apparently had too much to drink. Police responded, but could not find the man when they arrived.

Friday around 2:30 p.m., police responded to a reported “suspicious person” in the area of Forest and Mill Streets; police again could not find the man when they arrived.

A prankster may have pulled a fast one on a Moses Hill man. The resident phoned police Friday just before 10:30 p.m. to report that his doorbell was rung, but nobody was there.
