Tonight's Loop concert rescheduled

Tonight was to be kickoff show in the 40th year of the Harbor Loop concert series.

But organizers have called off tonight's free concert and rescheduled it for this Sunday, July 14.

The first concert will still feature Digney Fignus, whose band includes local favorites. The music starts around 5 p.m. on the hillside of Fitz Henry Lane Park overlooking the historic Inner Harbor.

Among those members is Alizon Lissance, an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music, on keyboards and squeeze box.

“She’s a Boston rock legend,” said Fignus.

Also in the band are Jon Donohoe on fiddle, mandolin, banjo and saxophone; Perry James on drums; and Wolfe Ginandes on bass.
